What happens when you loose control?

This is the fear I saw most often in my nursing career.

You hand your body — your life — over to a team of strangers. You’re unconscious. You can’t advocate for yourself. You can’t monitor what’s happening. You can’t intervene if something feels wrong.

For many people, that loss of control is more frightening than the procedure itself.
